Management

The Management of the society is consisting of a board and a president; they will be elected from among its members. At present the functions of the board is looked after by the state Government appointed administrator/ special Officer.

Funds

The district union shall ordinarily obtain fund from the following sources

• Membership subscription under bylaw 6

• Sale of publications, forms, note books and other materials

• Donations from central cooperative bank, other banks and institutions and others

• Subventions from the education fund and cooperative development fund realized by the Tamilnadu cooperative Union

• Financial assistance from the Government

• The member societies shall pay the annual subscription at following rates

• District level societies and other societies having jurisdiction of more than one taluk Rs.100/- for everyRs.10 lakhs of working capital. Over or part thereof subjet a maximum of Rs.5000/-
  
  
• Other societies: Rs.10/- for every Rs.1.00 lakh of working capital of part thereof to a maximum of Rs.2000/-
